There are many ways to get to Les Sablons. Some choose to combine their stay with us with a journey through France, either taking a leisurely drive over a few days through the beautiful French countryside, or driving south on the Autoroutes.
If you choose to drive down on the Autoroute, you can either take the central route via Lyon or the more westerley route passing Orleans and Clermont Ferrand, which is a little quicker.
There are plenty ways to cross to the continent either on a North Sea crossing to Zeebrugge in Belgium, or from Dover to Calais, or from Portsmouth, Poole or Plymouth on Brittany Ferries to the Normandy Coast. You could also consider the Eurotunnel route, where you can cross the channel with or without your car and let the train take the strain to Beziers.
If you’re looking to fly, then a number of Budget Airlines have direct flights every week throughout the summer months to airports which are in easy reach of our campsite:
EasyJet fly direct to Montpellier, about 40 minutes drive to Les Sablons, from London Gatwick and London (Luton).
Ryanair operate two flights a week from Manchester, direct to Beziers airport which is a ten minute taxi ride way from us (20€), or to Carcassonne which is about an hour away.
FlyBe fly direct from Edinburgh and Southampton to Perpignan which is about one hour’s drive away.
