The\u00a0<\/b>area of\u00a0L\u2019Herault<\/b>\u00a0around the campsite is well known for its caves and underground features. The area is full of galleries that still remain to be discovered! Not least, there is the cave of Clamouse (a \u201clisted\u201d cave), but also those of La Dev\u00e8ze, Demoiselles, Labeil\u2026and also the \u2018Dent Creuze\u2019 de Carespine in the Aube. When it\u2019s hot and sunny outside, it\u2019s often a relief to take some respite within the cool and dark depths of the limestone.
Speleology (The Study of Caves)\u00a0<\/b>or potholing is a little different, but not necessarily just for the specialists. Why not try an underground expedition for a day. Crawl through narrow and tricky galleries, slide along slippery paths, attempt a difficult climb (but\u00a0watch your fingers!<\/i>) \u2026<\/p>\n
