Come and explore Béziers, the oldest city in France, as well as its magnificent region. With centuries of history, this region encompasses a great heritage that appeals to art and culture lovers alike.

You will be accompanied during your visits under the Mediterranean sun. Discover a new holiday experience whether you are two or more!

Sunêlia Les Sablons will provide you with a beautiful home base in the region. You will find everything on-site to make the most of your cultural and gourmet outings. And if you want a little break, you can take advantage of our direct access to the beach and our pools including a 400 m² balneo reserved for adults.

ON THE PROGRAMM

DISCOVER OUR 3 CULTUR PACKAGES

3 days/2 nights
Friday to Sunday

Day 1:

You’ll arrive during the day on Friday, get settled in your accommodation, and begin to discover all that the campsite has to offer. Then starting at 5pm, we offer to join you with a welcome drink and tapas at your accommodation where we will go over your itinerary and answer any questions you may have. It’s a great opportunity for us to get to know you and have a nice exchange all together. You will have a seafood platter delivered directly to you as well.

Day 2:

Today you’ll venture off to the magnificent village of Saint Guilhem le Désert with a picnic lunch. While there, you will be able to follow the hiking trails over the Devil’s Bridge, admire the gorges along the Hérault river, and visit the charming medieval village where you can sit in the shade of the remarkable plane trees. Upon your return to the campsite, you’ll have time to take advantage of all the activities we have to offer or simply relax poolside. For dinner, we propose a typical Mediterranean meal from Le Jardin des Sablons delivered directly to your accommodation. Then the evening is all yours!

Day 3:

For your last day at Sunêlia Les Sablons, meet up in Béziers where you’ll head out on a houseboat. On the programme; an unobstructed view of the Béziers Cathedral, the crossing of the 9 locks, the technical achievements of Paul Riquet, then just coasting along the Canal du Midi. Once you’ve returned to port, take advantage of some free time in Béziers to discover the city further. Take advantage of your late checkout on site, you’ll have until 4pm!

This region is known for its distinctive wines, which is why you’ll embark on a tour accompanied by a guide to visit two vineyards and taste their wines. You’ll learn all that there is to know about the different wines. Upon your return to the campsite, you’ll have time to take advantage of all the activities we have to offer or simply relax poolside. For dinner, we offer a typical Mediterranean meal from Le Jardin des Sablons delivered directly to your accommodation.

Day 4:

After breakfast, meet up in Marseillan Plage where you’ll embark on a boat ride on the « étang de Thau ». Passing through the front gates of the Canal du Midi, you’ll sail along and discover the largest oyster farm in the Mediterranean as well as the shellfish farming profession, and many other wonderful things that our passionate tour guides will have the pleasure of sharing with you. Once you’ve returned to port, take advantage of some free time in Vias Plage to discover the town. Upon your return to the campsite, you’ll have time to take advantage of all the activities we have to offer or visit the Point Infos for additional recommendations for what to do and see in the area. In the evening why not have dinner delivered directly to your accommodation for a little date night?

Day 3:

Meet up in Béziers for a guided tour via the mini train. You’ll learn about the history of the old part of the city, the Saint Nazaire cathedral, the magnificent Plateau des Poètes park in the city center, and finally, make a stop at the Fonseranes Locks where you’ll see Paul Riquet’s technical achievements. You will be able to take advantage and wander through the streets of the oldest city in France. For dinner, we propose a typical Mediterranean meal from Le Jardin des Sablons delivered directly to your accommodation.

You’ll have a free day today to do whatever you’d like! If you wish to venture off-site, please don’t hesitate to stop by the Point Infos where we can provide you with suggestions for activities in the region. For your evening meal, we offer a seafood platter accompanied by white wine delivered directly to your accommodation.

Day 8:

For your last day, it’s your chance to explore the area around the campsite with a nice bike ride. Follow the Canal du Midi, discover the flora and fauna of the Grande Maïre, or check out the towns nearby. We will provide you with suggested routes to follow so you can ride along with ease. Upon your return, take advantage of your late check out, you’ll have until 4pm!
