Just like in the Camargue, Portiragnes is surrounded by large tracts of grassland, wild plains, marshlands and ponds. The diversity of wildlife will certainly impress you.
As in the Camargue you might be tempted to explore the trails on foot, by bike or on horseback.
We have close links with a couple of ranches within a mile of the campsite and twice a week we arrange for the mini-club to take advantage of their facilities.
